Måtte bare få inn litt Lion King-stemning her, for å presentere en ny skapning fra Whimsy Stamps! Han kan kanskje se litt trett ut, men så er det jo slitsomt å være konge, da! Stilig er han åkke som! Denne løva, en sjiraff og en apekatt hopper ut fra jungelen 1. juni, så da kan de bestilles hos Whimsy Stamps! I just had to get some Lion King mood in here, to present a brand new image from Whimsy Stamps! He might look a bit sad or tired, I think all kings feel that way from time to time :) But look how handsome he is! This lion, a giraffe and a monkey will be jumping out of the jungle at June 1st, to be released at Whimsy Stamps! The Design Team have a Sneak Peek week going on, and you should definately take a look in the blogs for the rest of the team!

Well... enough talking... here's the card I've made with this gorgeous lion. I've used Heidi's sketch at Friday Sketchers to put it together. Heidi hasn't only made a fabulous sketch, she has also given med the half pearls that I've used :) That gives me the opportunity to join in for the ABC challenge as well, where P is for pearls. The prize at ABC is the new monkey from Whimsy Stamps, so I will highly recommend you to participate on that challenge this week!

I've painted the lion with my Distress Ink refillers, using the colours 'tea dye' and 'scattered straw', and 'vintage photo' for the shadows.

Every king needs a crown! My kind friend Kristine has given me this one of chipboard :) I've painted it with Distress Crackle Paint and then sponged it with Fluid Chalk 'Creamy Brown'.

I love these embellisments from making memories. The YO! star is placed on the circle with 3D foam.

A Spoon Full of ABC for a confirmation :)

Jeg bare svisjer innom med et konfirmasjonskort som er laget på bestilling til en gutt. Jeg hadde skissa på A Spoon Full of Sugar i bakhodet, håper det blir godkjent :) Dessuten passet det midt i blinken at ABC challenge ber oss om å gjøre det enkelt! 

This is a confirmation card for a boy, made as an order. I've used Caryn's sketch at ASOS to put it together. And how convenient is the ABC challenge for this card; K for Keep it simple! I've used Graphic 45 DP and 7 Gypsies Gaffer Tape to create the background. The image is "Wherever You Go" from Paperbag Studios.

Denne røffe, flotte Prima-blomsten syntes jeg passet godt til en gutt, sammen med litt brun lintråd fra Papirloftet.

These Artistry Flowers from prima are awesome! I found this one so suitable for a boy...

The inside... The woman who ordered this card wanted to make a gift card herself, so I've just made it ready for her. At the pocket I've used a beautiful oval stamp from Inkido. Stamps from a Graphic 45 DP.

The back was simply made by letting the Gaffer Tape continue :)

Tralala vår - med Sketch Saturday og ABC Challenge

Når man er så til de grader forsinket med et bursdagskort, må man bare synge tralala og late som det er noe helt annet *fnis* Dette kortet er laget med hjelp av skissa på Sketch Saturday. Av en eller annen grunn har jeg aldri laget noe til den utfordringsbloggen - så da var det vel på tide, da :)

When you're so late to a high degree with a Birthday card, you just have to sing "tralala" and pretend it's something completely different *haha* The sentiment on this card says "spring, tralala spring" - it's a phrase from a song by a Norwegian band... This is my first entry at Sketch Saturday, I loved the sketch by Tracie :)

Denne Gorjussjenta har funnet seg en liten hageflekk til å kose seg i :) Jeg har brukt Word Window-punchen til å lage gjerdet; den brune kartongen er malt med hvit krakeleringsmaling. Gresset er tynne papirstrimler med litt krøll. Pirkehøna kaklet fælt mens hun holdt på med dette, men hun ble da fornøyd med resultatet ;)

I've tried to make a little garden spot for this Gorjuss girl. I've made the fence with my Word Window punch. The brown Bazzill is painted with white Crackle Paint. The grass is made by cutting and curling tiny paper strips.

Heller ikke ABC-utfordringen har jeg vært med på før, og nå har de allerede kommet til bokstaven I - for innside. Så her er den. Ganske så enkel, med et journalbokhjerte fra Making memories som hovedpynt.

This is also my first entry at ABC Challenge, as already has come to the letter I - for inside. So here it is. Quite simply made, with a MM journal heart as the focus. The text says: "Small things comforts the heart. A ladybug. A sunbeam . A smile...

... and a butterfly :) I love these laser cuts from Karen Marie Klip.

Tar også med en bit av baksida her... Dette signaturstempelet fra svenske Inkido har blitt en favoritt. Marte lurte på hvor jeg hadde fått tak i det, og jeg har kjøpt det på Penelope-butikken her i byen. Jeg tror Inkido bare selger via forhandlere...

Nå tar jeg påskeferie fra bloggen, og vil veldig gjerne få ønske alle sammen riktig gode påskedager, hva dere enn skal bruke dem til. Pass godt på dere selv, følg fjellvettreglene, og se opp for plagsomme høner!
