I hope you all have a just as lovely Sunday as I have :) Today I'll show you a card I made for
Scrappehuset's challenge. Both the sketch and the pictures inspired me for making this card. Lots of details - lots of pictures. Have a cup of coffee while looking ;)
The outside of the house is decorated with a
Graphic45 DP, which is so beautiful on both sides it hurts to cut ;) Well, this is the back side of the paper...
I don't know who's made this snowman, because I borrowed it from my stamping friend
Kari some weeks ago, but I love him anyway :) Painted with Distress Ink, and so is the Magnolia fence...
The window is Magnolia, too. After painting it with 'Bundled Sage', 'Stormy Sky' and 'Pumice Stone' I added thin lines of white Crackle Paint to make it look old and worn. The glass in the window is made of a gelatin plate, makes cozy, small panes :) The lace curtain is mounted on the inside.
And look at those curious eyes in there ;)
Inside the house there's joy and laughter around the Christams tree :)
I've used Liquid Pearls'white opal' on the edges and on The Tim Holtz snowflake die. This picture is a part of the other side of the Graphic45 paper I used at the front. I've placed it in photo corners, covered by washi tape...
...because I've made the back side to write on.
The card ends at the back. The Tim Holtz tree is sponged with Gesso, using the cardstock from a tree cutting as a stencil.
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year...
...but first; a lovely Sunday :)
Takk for at du stakk innom bloggen min, jeg blir så utrolig glad for alle besøkene :) Håper alle får en finfin søndag. Her er det drittvær - perfekt ;)
