Be Creative! heter den.
Her er mitt første marihøne-prosjekt; en såkalt
Stationary Box.
I guess there has been a blue mood in my blog for a while, but now I can share some happiness again :) I'm really happy and honoured to tell you that I've become a part of Ladybug and Friend's Creative Team! I will highly recommend you to add the
Be Creative! blog to your bloglist, as there's a lot of talented ladies in this team!
My very first Ladybug project is a
Stationary Box I made for my mum's birthday -she turned 76 yesterday :) I'm sorry about the bad colour quality at these pictures, it was too late to take new photos when the box was already delivered at the post office ;)
I made the box using "spring has sprung" DP. This is so beautiful, and also a little thin for box making, so I reinforced it by adding a belt of cardstock with this old and cute image on :)
The top of the lid. The sentiment says "good wishes" and is stamped on vellum and then curled a bit with a bone folder.
Here's the lid removed, and the box open... I've made the inside simple, just added a greeting at the white sheet.
Closer look at the box filled with cards - and a couple of CD's. The size of the box is perfect for CD's :)
So... here's the two cards at about 13x15 cm:
And the other one...
On both these cards I've added Glossy Accents for the images. It's a bit difficult to show at a picture, but it turns out like pretty nice effect!
I also made four gift tags, using pink and green tags from Inkido. Here's the pink...
...and the green.
And finally; some small gift cards at 7,5x7,5 cm. Perfect size for using spare DP!
Pheew ;) that's all. It takes some time to make a box like this with all the cards included, but it's also very fun, and my mum was so happy to recieve it - although she wasn't sure if she would be able to give the cards away :)
