Let's Get Shabby challenges us to be inspired by Beatrix Potter's gorgeous illustrations. I've made an Easter greeting - a box for a chocolate is decorated with DP from 3ndyPapir. At the front I've used the colours for my inspiration... this cute motif is cut out from the same DP as used on the box.
The box seen in a bird's-eye view... the colours at the picture are a bit dull, but the sentiment says Happy Easter anyway :)
The motif is mounted on a chipboard heart from Kort&Godt. I've used acrylic painting, some lace and crackle paint before mounting the cute girls...
Now to the back of the box... I've made a little pocket here, for a little bag of cress seeds, as I like having cress for Easter ;) - and...
... these bags I've made by printing Beatrix Potter images on old note sheets!
After some trial and error I was pleased with the result, and I think it's so much nicer to give away some seeds in these bags :) These are four samples.
Thanks for visiting my blog, have a lovely Monday evening!
