Today I have some joy to share we with you before I go north for a little vacation. First; I'm so proud and happy to have been voted up to the Top3 at the LOTV challenge blog! I'm sending hugs and love to the entire DT for giving me such a kick of motivation! And thanks to Jacqui for sending me this "Big Size Shout It Out" banner in addition to the small one to place at the side menu :)
Well, this inspired me to make a new card, also because Bev had made such a gorgeous sketch this week! So here's the card I've made for this week's LOTV challenge...
This glittering fairy will soon fly to Hardanger, I'll tell you why in a minute, but first I'd like to share this little tip... I added the glitter at her dress and the crown by using one of those glitter pen (made to write with). I just made a dash and then used my waterbrush to spread it. I loved the effect, and will sure use it again.
The first time I saw tulle used on a card, was at a card made by Kristine. I guess theat's why I always think of her when I use tulle now :) So for this card tulle was an obvious part of the embellishment :) I've added white and pink between two layers of flowers.
And now... this card is made for Kristine for a very special reason! Kristine was one of my first blog friends, and during these two years she has become a very special and dear friend to me. Through good times and bad - Kristine is a stayer!
She isn't just a fabulous friend, she's also a talented designer, and today is the day... for... well, I suggest you just visit Kristine's blog to find out why she is excited and why I am so proud and moved to tears...
Kristine; you'll have to apologize me for showing this card in the blog before you've recieved it, but it had to be done this way this time... It's a really, really warm greeting to you from my heart.
Fra mig til dig. Tusen takk for at du er den du er.
